I hold a B.A. in English Literature from University of Virginia (1991) and an M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University (1993). I am licensed to practice therapy in the state of North Carolina, and abide by the laws and ethical practices of my state. In 2023, I will be celebrating 10 years in private practice!
I offer individual counseling (ages 8-adult), couples counseling, and family therapy in a comfortable, peaceful outpatient setting.

Payment is due at the time of service. Depending on need, there is a sliding fee scale for people paying out of pocket. The published rate for my service is $150.00 for a 50 minute session. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. HSA cards welcome.
Per the Federal No Surprises Act, if you are paying out of pocket, I will provide you with a good faith estimate of your expenses at the onset of treatment. Please click the link below for more information.
Office hours
Currently, I accept most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and MedCost. Any other insurance would be out of network, and you would have to file yourself. I do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, or TriCare at this time.
Any copay or charges are due at the time of service. I will file Blue Cross and MedCost for you.
